Stay Right Here is a collection of songs inspired by Stax, Atlantic Records of the 60s and 70s. Use of string arrangements, three part harmony call and answer vocals ala The Sweet Inspirations, Wurlitzer and guitar licks weave the seam of the music. ] ‘Stay Right Here’ boasts Eric Johnson’s engineer, Kelly Donnelly behind the board on lead vocals, mixing and mastering. Johnny Radelat of Gary Clark Jr. appears on drums on the CD except for tracks 5 & 8. Nick Connolly of Delbert McClinton adds Wurlitzer and piano on tracks 1, 3, and 5. The making of this album hit some bumps in the road after many losses of loved ones and band mates. Many people contributed, and donated their time to make it happen. Thank you for your patience and encouragement! Sweet Thang, thank you for your continuous enthusiasm, love and support! LeAnn Mueller and Ali Clem thank you so much for your generosity!
