"Vintage Vibes. Timeless Soul. Fearlessly Female."

Lisa Marshall is a genre-bending artist who creates music in the lineage of retro soul, folk, and funk — the soundtracks of resistance and liberation. Her songs move in the frequencies of 432 Hz and 528 Hz, tuning not just instruments but hearts toward harmony.

Lisa Marshall – Soul Artist • Producer • Healing Through Sound

Raised in Virginia Beach, VA, Lisa moved to Los Angeles at 21, co-wrote for her first original band, and cut her teeth on stages like The Troubadour and The Roxy. Since then, she’s lived and made music in Seattle, Austin, and now Wilmington, NC—writing, performing, and producing with a voice that’s been compared to the greats like Gladys Knight and Mavis Staples.

With over three decades of live performance experience, Lisa has shared stages with icons like Koko Taylor, Robben Ford, Gary Clark Jr., Doyle Bramhall II, Patrice Pike & Sister Seven, Guitar Shorty, and Barbara Lynn. Whether leading her band at Antone’s or The Continental Club in Austin, or bringing raw emotion to a solo set, Lisa’s presence is both timeless and fiercely her own.

Now fully self-producing her upcoming EP Higher, Lisa is combining old-school soul sensibilities with modern indie freedom. Her music is tuned to 432Hz, a frequency many believe supports nervous system regulation and deeper emotional connection—part of her commitment to sound as a healing modality.

Lisa openly shares her production process via YouTube, especially her love for vintage Stax Records recording and mixing techniques. She’s creating detailed PDFs and guides to help indie musicians—particularly women—create analog-inspired, emotionally resonant music from home. She believes in opening doors, not guarding them.

She also writes custom songs for clients around the world—capturing birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and loss with lyrical depth and vocal power. Her custom work has led to laughter, tears, and countless messages of gratitude.
