While living in Seattle, I met so many lovely people! One of them is an excellent songwriter and performer, Eric Apoe. He and Bill Carter grew up with Ron Davies. Artists who have recorded Ron Davies's songs include David Bowie, The Wailers Three Dog Night, Shelby Lynn, and Helen Reddy to name a few. After he had passed, Eric put together a tribute album of Ron's songs and asked various artists he knew to contribute. I was fortunate to be one of them. That's how I met and recorded You're The Reason with the incredibly gifted Bill Carter!
